Covid-19 Update – March 18, 2020

One of our staff (cannot share for privacy reasons) has checked all the COVID-19 symptom boxes and has been instructed to stay home for 7 days per the ER ON-Care (she is doing fine, resting at home).  We learned that they are no longer testing people for COVID-19, even us child care workers.  This staff member had a pre-scheduled day off yesterday and her symptoms began last night, and she contacted us immediately.

I spoke with the MN Department of Health today and their recommendation was to stay open, however, they did recommend that we close on Thursday and Friday and come in on Sunday for further deep cleaning, this will also enable us to avoid a long term closure so that we can open on Monday and continue to remain open for you during this crazy time.

We feel overly confident that we are doing everything right as far as cleaning and keeping our staff and your families safe.
Beginning on Monday, we will ask parents to please drop off/pick up at one of the three back doors (School age, Earth and Equinox, they will be labeled on Monday).  Infant parents can continue to drop off through the front door.  We want to limit the number of people in and out of our building.

Our MAIN goal is to stay open for you guys! We are here for you so that you can work and keep some normalcy in yours and your child’s lives.

All Stars WILL BE CLOSED Thursday and Friday (3/19 & 3/20) and will re-open on Monday 3/23.

As always, we will continue to keep the lines of communication opens so please don’t ever hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
