All Stars Montessori would like to introduce you to Ms. Ellen, one of the Toddler Teachers in the Earth Room. Ms. Ellen joined the All Stars family in March of 2018. If you have a toddler or a younger preschooler at All Stars Montessori, you have probably had the chance to meet Ms. Ellen when you’ve dropped off or picked up your child.

Ms. Ellen lives with her boyfriend and her four-year-old son. She loves to spend weekends with friends and family, especially when they can get to the cabin and spend time on the lake. They are a hardcore soccer family, too. (Go, Liverpool!) Ms. Ellen’s son plays soccer, so they spend a lot of time at practices and games. If they can find the time, she would love to complete a couple of bathroom remodels in their home soon. (Oh, and Ms. Ellen also enjoys long-distance running when she has the chance.)

Ms. Ellen’s dream vacation spot is Punta Cana, and she is so excited to be going there for vacation this fall! She would also love to be able to visit Liverpool someday. Hopefully, that will be the next spot on her vacation schedule!

When we asked Ms. Ellen who she admires, she easily responded that it’s her mom. Ms. Ellen’s mom has helped her to become the woman she is today. Her mom has shown her how to be strong, independent and hardworking!

One thing you may not know about Ms. Ellen is that she has her B.A. in Criminal Justice. She was a police officer with the City of Farmington before she came to work at All Stars!

Ms. Ellen is organized, disciplined and hardworking. And she is also patient, kind and loving. All of these are skills that come in handy when working with a room full of toddlers! She loves being able to watch the children grow physically and developmentally right before her eyes. And she especially enjoys being able to develop a special bond with each and every one of them.
