Ms. Ashley has been a part of the All Stars Montessori family since 2012 when she started as a teacher in the infant room. After a few years in the infant room, she joined one of her graduating infant classes and moved up to the toddler program where she is now a teacher in the Earth Room.  If your child has attended All Stars Montessori as an infant or toddler, then you’ve probably had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Ashley.

Ms. Ashley lives in the home she just bought with her boyfriend and their blended family of two boys, two girls, a cat named Ferny Mae and a guinea pig named Leo. She is already having fun remodeling and redecorating and can’t wait to have it all finished.

When the weekends come, Ms. Ashley loves to have fun with her family going to places like apple orchards, pumpkin patches, county fairs and other fun outdoor spots.  If they can’t be outside, you will find them at home spending time together playing games and watching movies. As busy as they are, Ms. Ashley also tries to find some time to relax.

Ms. Ashley’s favorite vacation spot is Florida and she visits there whenever she can.  She would move there in a heart-beat if everyone she loved didn’t live in Minnesota!  Another place she would love to visit is Ireland. Ms. Ashley’s family is Irish, and she still has relatives that live on a farm in Ireland.

Ms. Ashley admirers her mom more than anyone!  She is always putting other people before herself. She has a huge heart, and everyone loves her!  She is a great mom, a great grandma and Ms. Ashley’s best friend!

Ms. Ashley informed us that her special talent is that she knows the words to just about every Disney song, because of course, – “Disney is life!” Besides children, she also loves cats, mythical creatures and Lord of the Rings!  (She proudly acknowledges that she’s “a nerd”.)

Ms. Ashley is caring, fun and energetic. (This is good, since she works with toddlers and we all know how much energy they have!) She is also creative, even on the fly, because toddlers have short attentions spans and you never know when they’ll be ready to move on to a new activity. Ms. Ashley has developed great relationships with the parents of the children in her care because she knows the value of parent/teacher communication.

Ms. Ashley truly enjoys her job! She loves seeing the children pick up on the things she’s been teaching them, and she loves even more how genuinely excited they are to see her.  She enjoys the relationships she’s developing with the children and with their parents. Ms. Ashley says that being a toddler teacher is a “very rewarding and satisfying job.”

If your child attends All Stars Montessori, be sure to stop by the Earth Room and say “hello” to Ms. Ashley!
