Ms. Meagan joined the All Star’s family in 2013. She was a teacher in the Toddler program for a few years before she made the move to her current role as a Preschool teacher in the Equinox room. Chances are pretty good that if you are the parent of an All Star’s preschooler you’ve been greeted by Ms. Meagan when you were dropping off or picking up your child.

Ms. Meagan lives with her hubby, their two children (a son in elementary school and a baby girl) and a dog named Nova. Her weekends are filled with fun family activities that include being a busy hockey-mom and cheering on the Vikings!  Skol!  They also like to cook and to grill when the weather cooperates! Ms. Meagan makes sure to find some time to kick back and relax with her family whenever she can.

Ms. Meagan has always been intrigued by ancient Egypt and her one of her dreams is to one day to take a trip to Egypt to see the pyramids up close and in person.

The person that Ms. Meagan admires the most is her grandma. She is strong, brave, loving and kind – and she is a darn good cook!  Ms. Meagan told us that her grandma is the glue that holds their family together.

A little-known fact about Ms. Meagan is that she was once a professional dancer. She danced throughout her teenage years and traveled a lot for ballet camps in places like Boston, Chicago, and New York. Before she decided to become a preschool teacher, she danced professionally for the Minnesota Ballet in Duluth.

Ms. Meagan is awesome with children and she has been her whole life. She grew up taking care of her younger brothers and babysitting for her neighbors. Ms. Meagan started her career as an early childhood teacher when she was just nineteen. She is also organized and detail-oriented which makes her great at classroom management!

Ms. Meagan loves being able to build relationships with the children in her care and with their families. She values the trust, respect and amazing bonds that are created. Every day is a new day with new adventures. She said that the “words out of the mouths of babes can be a day brightener.”

If you have a child at All Stars Montessori, be sure you stop by the Equinox room and say “hello” to Ms. Meagan!
